About the host

Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) is proud to host the annual Health Care in Secure Settings conference.

The Network is the largest health care provider to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems in Australia. This includes one third of Australian's adult custodial population, and 40 per cent of the NSW forensic patient population.

Each year, Networks staff care for more than 30,000 patients in correctional centres, courts, police cells, youth justice centres, inpatient settings, and in the community.

The Network provides multidisciplinary health services, including primary care, drug and alcohol, mental health, population health, women’s and midwifery care, oral health, Aboriginal health, youth health, and a range of allied health services. The Network also plays a key role in intervention programs to divert people away from custody.

To learn more, visit the Network's website at www.justicehealth.nsw.gov.au or join us at the 2022 Health Care in Secure Settings conference.

Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land across Australia.
